Our (at least) weekly supply ship Evangelistria Skopelou has made an interesting diversion from her usual Volos – Sporades jaunt. After arriving in Volos earlier in the week, she stopped by Amaliapolis near Almyro (Volos airport area) and then headed across the Aegean to Chios and now has moved on to Vathy, the main port in Samos. What’s up with that and where is she headed next? Back to Skopelos with rare spices from the East? The ship is usually in Skopelos every Saturday.

Samos is a beautiful island. I’d be curious to know if this voyage was just a delivery or if they are bringing something back. The boat is probably carrying goods for Skopelos from Volos.
Evangelistria has left Samos and might be headed for Turkey which is very close.
