Last Sunday the scouts walked to Agia Anna, the small church that is found behind the Prodromos monastery and at the end of one of the new kalderimia that were finished last year. It is worth walking on this donkey path and the views are breathtaking. When you reach the church you will find a spring and on the grounds of the church is a kalivi/house which can provide shelter and which is used during celebrations. Jannis the painter and his mother take care of the church with a lot of love and they welcomed the scouts with open arms again.

Did you walk the redone Kalderimi from Karyatis Bar up past Sotira Monastery? How long did it take from the start to Agia Anna?
Tom, the scouts walked from the Prodromos monastery to Agia Anna. Maybe somebody else has walked from Karyatis Bar to the Sotira monastery and can tell us how long it took ?
