Great Lavra Monastery after Family Taverna in Skopelos

A crowd gathered outside the tavern of the Kosmas family, which was filled with policemen, court bailiffs and representatives of the Monastery of Great Lavra on Mount Athos.
The tension on the island of Skopelos, in the western Aegean Sea, Greece, has intensified, particularly exploding at the beach of Glisterio. Representatives of the Monastery of Great Lavra arrived on the island accompanied by policemen, in order to take the estate, belonging to the family of Kosmas, for more than one hundred years. Policemen of MAT (Units for the Reinstatement of Order), who arrived hooded and holding guns, blocked the surrounding roads and invaded the property of the family.
