In the meantime

We have been keeping busy. There a 2 wonderful lemon trees on a piece of land that we have and the trees are loaded with lemons. This morning we collected some more.

A friend told me the recipe for lemonade. It will be great to have cold lemonade in the summer.
Boil 1 liter of water with 1 kilo of sugar (or less if you want the lemonade less sweet) for at least 5 minutes. Take it off the heat and pour 1 liter of lemon juice in the pan. Let it get completely cold and put in bottle. Use this concentrated lemon juice when you want to make the lemonade. Keep it in the fridge. It will keep for a long time.
1/3 of lemon juice and 2/3 of water make a wonderful mix. I (Daphne) have 11 bottles of 1,5 liters in my freezer. Let the summer come!!!

Elections today and the only person who needs to vote in the house came up with a cup of tea and said to me; so what do we vote? I think it shows the uncertainty that the Greeks feel.
They know that they want to vote “left” or “right” but will it be a continuation of the same (New Democrats), more adventurous (Syriza), do they vote for a party who have a more specified program (Golden Dawn, Communists, Independent Greeks, Pasok), a totally new party (The River, The movement from George Papandreou etc.) or one of smaller parties?
The amount of people who have not decided who to vote for is enormous.
The outcome will be very interesting. Will the weather influence their vote, the social media, the surrounding family? Let’s see after 7 o ‘clock tonight.
