Litsa, Destination Expert for Skopelos for Trip Advisor has passed away. Ian who has the Skiathian blog; told Skopelosnews that Litsa was a mine of information always delivered with patience and humor. A great friend of the island basing herself at Panormos beach each May and September, with a smile and a glass of red wine .
Was Litsa born on Skopelos? I think I may have known her. May her memory be eternal.
Goodbye Good Friend, thank you for all the happy time and fun and laughter we shared on Panormos beach over the past years. You will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Ya mas Lovely Lady, I can hear you laughing right now. Love, hugs and kisses for the good times, Colin xxx
Ah Litsa,
She was to blame for our trip to Skopelos.
I have used TripAdvisor for many years, and decided I wanted to take my wife to a Greek isle,a first for both of us.
My question was”What Greek isle would anyone recommended?”
Chatted with many TA members,Litsa was special!
Her Love for Skopelos shone through!
She traveled with her job,had been to many isles,But the most beautiful isle in the world was Skopelos!!
Her passion and Love for the island was unbelievable.I wanted the real Greek experience,Litsa told me Glossa was it.
I researched the isles accommodations in Glossa, and ended up staying at “Clifftop”for 21 days!
During that time we fell under that same spell, and fell in love with the isle.
We purchased a home in Glossa, and eventually met Litsa in person at Asterias, her favourite place in Panormos, much cheer and dance!
Yes Litsa, you were to blame for leading us to paradise.XOXO us
What lovely comments for a lovely lady. Thank you Daphne, and SkopelosNews for sharing the sad news …
What terribly sad news! We will always remember Litsa with much love, it won’t be the same on Panormos beach without her brushing out her beautiful hair, hearing her gusty laugh & seeing her wonderful smile. Yamas Litsa, we will raise a glass to you when we’re next on Skopelos.
I still have the picture in my mind of the smiling Litsa sitting by herself at an Asterias table on the beach. My condolences to her loved ones.
I’m sorry to hear this news, TripAdvisor Sporades will be all the poorer without Lisa’s prolific, heart-felt and well informed contributions. She was truly an ambassador for the island.
