On Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of June the cultural and folkloric association of Skopelos will host two wonderful evenings with dancing and music to celebrate the end of the dance classes that were organized this year.
The first night many members from the association will show dances from all over Greece. Dancers (young and older) from Glossa, Alonissos and Skiathos will also dance. The second evening the students from the modern dance classes and the ballet classes will show what they have learned the previous year. Also the students from the musical instrument classes will play for the audience this evening.
On Friday, at the end of the evening, live music will be played for the party that follows and on Saturday at the end of the evening the winners of the raffle will be announced. Both evenings start at 20.30 hours and the place to be is the amphitheater of the elementary school. Take a cushion to sit on. The amphitheater benches are made of stone. You can find the amphitheater on the ring road just below the Aperiton hotel. If you walk through the village try and find Ionia hotel and walk up.
