Today is Pentecost. In Greece this day is celebrated fifty days after Greek Easter.
In the Greek orthodox church it is a big celebration. Some people call it a second Easter.Pentecost is celebrated on the seventh Sunday after Easter, or the “Fiftieth Day”, and commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit.Πέντε in Greek means five so it might be easy to remember the 50 days after Easter.
