Today and the next couple of days Skopelos lies in the areas that are very vulnerable to fire outbreaks. Especially in the afternoons with the wind picking up there is great danger.
The head of the fire brigade asks everybody to be extra careful. Don’t BBQ, cook outside, don’t work with machines that can give sparks. Don’t put big pieces of waste in forest areas. Don’t throw ends of cigarettes, cigars on the road. Let’s help the island and not have any fires again!!!
