The Municipality of Skopelos wants to set up a better communication channel for more effective communication and for the exchange of ideas with foreigners/non Greeks who either live permanently on the island, own a property or spend a long time on the island.
The municipality invites everybody to send their contact details (name, email, mobile or landline, residential area) to the following email address: kathinioti@skopelos.gov.gr or visit the office of Mrs. Evi Kathinioti at the municipality.
Thank you for highlighting this! I think this is a good idea, with more understanding about what sort of connection is being sought and comfort on data privacy and confidentiality. As a non-Greek citizen (hoping to be one soon!) whose mother was born in Skopelos, I would love to receive more information and have better connection with the island’s municipality. I know most of my cousins here too with family born on the island would appreciate this. Is there anywhere we can get more information on this incentive?
Hi Daphne, many thanks for getting back to me, I will get onto Mrs Kathinioti. And thank you for your wonderful blog/FB group, love reading your articles and keeping us engaged with life on our beautiful island! Yeia for now, Helen
