
A short walk on our land and we ended up with: sparagia, overies, maratho, kefalas, paparouna, vrouva and zochos. We boiled them for a bit and added olive oil and lemon juice. What a treat!

Yum! Looks delicious. Probably the tastiest meal I had in Skopelos recently was omelette with spinach and local herbs (i.e. χόρτα) for an early breakfast at Κύρα Λένη bakery in Glossa. 07:00 bus, great breakfast, walk round to Χονδρογιώργη admiring the glorious wildflowers en route (shame about the tarmac) and the weird and wonderful rocks at the beach, back up the flower-strewn narrow path in time for the 14:15 return bus; alight at Αγνωντας for leisurely lunch at Παύλος, and a lift home – days don’t get much better than that. Missing you all already.
I really love the mountain greens!! Looks delicious Daphne.
