Water nymphets are Go!

water nymphetsIn their continuing bid for, if not world domination, then pool access rights across Skopelos, Muriel Dunlop’s gender-diverse water nymphets have added another venue to their roster of Aquafit workouts. As well as Mondays and Wednesdays at the Dionyssos Hotel, they are now also disporting themselves at the pool of the Aeolos Hotel overlooking the town beach each Tuesday at 11am. Muriel stresses that anyone, islanders, settlers or holiday makers, can join in, and as ever sessions are free, although there is a collection box in support of the SCAN animal charity if anyone wants to make a donation.

Waiting for the “Proteus” is Apostolos E. Goumas’s long and lean goods transporting machine. It seems like a very lengthy vehicle when seen from afar, and though of normal width, can be imposing if it is coming towards you on a narrow stretch of the ring road.

The scene caught my (Tom) eye for the truck always appears neat and tidy and the port at that instance seemed neat and tidy too.
The composite photo [enlarges with a click] shows a portion of a cat.

I noticed that the side of the carrier held a mysterious message which was later revealed to be “Frisches Geflügel” (fresh poultry) and a logo. Another example of the booming German/Greek second-hand heavy equipment trade. Other examples abound.
