A form of the remarkable film, “A Small Pension in Pécs”, will be shown to the adventurous sometime on Saturday evening (7 March) at Orfeas. Admittance is by a donation of €3 to the Orfeas upkeep fund.
This well-known chunk of celluloid celebrates the on-going shenanigans of the wacky Pécingese as they bark and woof with hilarious regularity. Little by little the sordid truth of the pension’s past is revealed until the sad and delightful final frame. Then the movie is over.
Directed by “Weon” Sanders (yes, “Weon” survived elementary school!). Running time 100 minutes if all goes well.
